Education

FHC has conducted many environmental education sessions with community groups and educational institutions. 

Presentations have been made to community groups including local garden clubs, historical society, Rotary.

We have made presentations at state-wide conferences, and facilitated field trips for state Landcare conferences.

We work closely with the Tweed Byron Local Aboriginal Land Council (TBLALC) cultural programs, such as the indigenous women's rugby team "All Stars", plus Junior and Senior Rangers.

As part of Fingal Head Coastcare’s environmental program, Fingal Head Public School has been propogating and revegetating forests and dunes on the Fingal Peninsula since 1998

Students from the Singapore American School visited FHC recently. They listened to Kate talk about our history, did some planting, gathered Glory Lily flowers and seed capsules, plus more. And on the headland, they were absolutely entranced by dolphins!
